Dear Family, Friends, and Neighbors
We are reaching out to you, and everyone you may know, to help us raise money for my brother, Mike Sulewski.
Some of you may not know, but Mike suffered a major spinal stroke on January 14th.
It has been such a surreal journey for us. One minute he is picking up his granddaughters from school and within hours he is being taken by ambulance and having emergency surgery. There was no time to prepare for the news that followed from the surgeon, and the news was not good; this strong independent person, who was so active in the lives of his grandchildren, is now a quadriplegic.
The insurance company will no longer approve his rehabilitation placement, and we must prepare for his transition home. Mike’s needs are many, including adaptive equipment, home modifications, transportation needs, and daily therapy.
Estimates right now stand at over $60,000, and we need your help to raise money for these expensive medical needs.
Bedford has always been a community of support for family and friends, and as Mike has always rallied to assist those in need, he now needs your help.
We are hopeful that with your generosity, Mike will be able to give his grandchildren a hug or throw them a ball…maybe one day.
Please donate today, and share with your friends and family, too. Together, we can give Mike the best possible outcome and ease the impact of Mike’s medical condition.
Thank you for your help and donations
