We are all deeply saddened by the sudden death of Kelyn Akuna. He was a kind soul who always helped and cared for others. He leaves behind his wife Tara, and two young children, Koa (Age 7) and Makaio (Age 2).
There are no words to express Kelyn’s influence in the life of his kids and in our community. Kelyn was hardworking, loving, and gentle. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to building a better life for his children. One of the biggest lessons we all learned from Keyln - is the value of hard work. He woke up everyday, put on his shoes, and went to work to provide for his family. He was always there whenever they needed him, emotionally and financially. Our WOMB-World Of My Baby community was blessed to have Kelyn as a wonderful coach for our team building meeting at The Velodrome and Tara is WOMB family.
With the sudden loss of a father, it unfortunately means a loss of financial support for the children. We are looking to raise funds for Kelyn’s two children Koa and Makaio. 100% of these funds will be held in a trust for the children to use for their university or college tuition and/or future learning. As we all know the growing expenses for education are overwhelming, especially for a widowed mother. We hope that this fund will help provide Kelyn’s children with the fatherly love and support that he valued so dearly.
