We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Akshay C on October 27, 2024.

Akshay was a cherished brother, a loving son, and a wonderful friend. He also was a bright and ambitious young man who came to Canada with dreams of a brighter future. He was a dedicated student, working hard to support his family and achieve his goals.

Originally from a small family in Mahe, Kannur, Kerala, Akshay arrived in Canada in 2022 to pursue his dreams. He enrolled at Cape Breton University, where he successfully completed his Bachelor of Health Science (Public Health) and recently began working as a pharmacy assistant at Pharmasave.

However, His untimely demise has left his family and friends devastated and unprepared for the high costs associated with his final journey. To ensure that Akshay's family can honor his memory and bring his body back home, we are organizing this fundraiser to cover the expenses of repatriation and other unexpected costs.
