Hi, my name is Cathy and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during the most difficult time of my daughter, Kate’s life.

Kate has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour that has drastically affected her health and daily life. She is experiencing ongoing seizures, delayed speech, weakness on her right side of the body and extreme fatigue.

As a result, Kate had to stop working, and everyday activities like driving or caring for her children have now become impossible to do independently.

Very soon, she will undergo complex brain surgery that carries serious risks, including the possibility of losing mobility and speech. The surgeon has expressed she will have to attend rehabilitation in hopes to gain her strength and speech back. There’s a real chance she won’t be able to work or drive for a long time after the operation also.

Kates husband Lee, has stepped in as her full-time carer, taking care of Kate and their children around the clock. Both of them were working full time and now have lost income due to Kate not being able to work and Lee needing to step in to take care. They are doing everything they can to stay strong as a family, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. The costs of travel to specialists, medical appointments, medications, and the long recovery process ahead have left them in urgent need of support.

We are asking for any help you can offer whether through donations, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness will go directly toward medical expenses, rehabilitation, and helping provide for their kids as we navigate this uncertain journey ahead.
