Todd fell ill with what seemed to be the flu a few days ago and continued to get worse. He was taken by his wife, Shayla, to the ER in Waverly, transferred to Allen Hospital and from there to University of Iowa Hospital. Todd turned septic, continued to decline and his kidneys shut down. They were going to place Todd on dialysis but he declined so quickly, they attempted to intubate and his heart stopped.Todd passed away with his parents and wife close by. Todd and Shayla are two of the kindest people who give for nothing in return. Please help return the favor and donate towards funeral expenses, hospital bills and missed work so Shayla can continue to take care of their 3 kids with maybe a little less stress.
