Akpabio John Stroke Medical Bills

It is a known fact that life is unpredictable, but it is still hard to believe until you experience it.  Last year on October 20, 2017, my husband suffered a major stroke that left him paralyzed and in a coma for several days. My 3 children and I just migrated less than 5 months when this happened. With no experience or job we were almost rendered homeless but for the mercy of friends.
He was in the hospital for several weeks fighting for his life. When he regained consciousness he had lost cognition, memory, and brain function. He suffers from expressive aphasia

Unfortunately my husband does not have adequate health insurance.  The medicals bills are piling up. My teenage kids are forced to get jobs so we can put food on the table and have a roof over our heads. 

John needs lifesaving medical care and rehabilitation, but  without health insurance it is unaffordable. His health is deteriorating every day and he needs 24 hour care. We are afraid that without appropriate therapy and rehab he might never walk or speak again or worse yet we can loose him. 

I know that whatever dose not kill you makes you stronger. Hence the kids and I are prepared to fight this situation and chose to be strong. Instead of crying every day and feeling helpless, we have decided to ask for help. This situation is more than we can handle.  We sincerely thank of our friends who have already chipped in to help us.
