Hi,i'm Nicole Johnson and i am the mother of Robert Curry and if anybody is out there going through what im going through with a sick child i just want to say stay strong in prayer and GOD will get us through this..On Feb 7th 2018 my world came to a crushing hault as my son Robert had an accident by falling down some stairs upon arriving at the hospital and the returning of his blood work i was notified my innocent little boy was stricken with Acute lymphoblastic Leukemia...Over the past 3 years i sat back and watched my baby boy not be able to live his life as a normal child...Enduring hospital visits that were months at a time,chemo treatment,blood tranfusions, pick lines,procedures...Children's Hospital of Wisconsin suggested to me that i should consider the procedure of having a Car-T-Cell in they which insert artificial cells in a childs body to fight off the cancer cells...March 2020 i agreed to let them perform the procedure on my child...A checkup in Feb of this year Children's informed me that the Car-T _Cellls had disappeared and the cancer came back...My last alternative was to have a bone marrow transplant with his younger brother being the donor which took place March 2021...Due to the seriousness of the transplant it comes with very serious side effects...Robert is now effected with GVHD in which the donor cells attack the healthy cells a cause a range of medical problems...The funds that i would possibly receive would take care of rent,groceries,clothing and any support would truly mean the world to me because of this i had to leave my job and fully tend to my son here in the hospital as well as to try and maintain my home and my other children...
