Bob Ziegler is in the ICU fighting for his life. His family wants to be there during his recovery. He is expected to be in the hospital or in-patient rehabilitation for at least two months, much of it in a town where no family lives.

We are raising money to be there for him while he continues to get better and fight to survive. We are also hoping to help cover the medical bills that will not be covered by insurance, given that he may end up in in-patient care for three months total or more. On June 4, he was diagnosed with septic shock. The doctors estimated that he had a 10% chance of survival, since his heart, lungs, kindneys, liver, and bone marrow had all temporarily failed. He survived knee surgery to control the source of his infection, and he has been fighting ever since.
