Aki’s Goodbye Fundraiser

Hi everyone,

Aki’s body has unfortunately hit its limit and it is time to say goodbye.

Unfortunately related with saying goodbye are quite a few expenses with which I was hoping to get some help with.

Cost to get diagnosis: $910

Cost of euthanasia and cremation: $910

Time off work: $260

I would be forever grateful if you could donate any amount, everything counts.

To anybody who doesn’t know, I took Aki in when he was a kitten. He was abandoned in a box at my friend’s workplace. He was very sick but with some vet care and lots of love, he became happy and healthy.

We lived in Japan at the time and it was just the two of us. He was my whole world. He was always ready to play or cuddle and is the most affectionate cat.

When we came to Australia, nothing changed except the addition of more cats.

He is still my whole world and still the same affectionate cat that came into my life in Japan.

Aki has been through a lot with me in the 9 years we have together and no matter how tough life has been, he has been there for me.

I am absolutely devastated to say goodbye and I know he will leave a big hole in my life.

I am so fortunate to have had Aki in my life and he will always be in my heart. ❤️
