Jumping for Premature Babies & Autism Awareness

This fundraiser means the world to me — not just because I’m doing something as extreme as jumping out of a plane, but because I’m doing it for two causes that are deeply personal.

My name is Michael aka Akira on Twitch, and I’m raising money for two incredible charities:

Bliss – supporting premature babies and their families

The National Autistic Society – providing vital support and advocacy for autistic individuals

Why This Matters

I lost my younger brother Callum, who was born extremely premature at just 25 weeks. He fought hard, but sadly, he passed away. His memory has stayed with me my entire life — and this jump is my way of finally honouring him.

I also have a brother with special needs, who was adopted at a young age. While we didn’t grow up together, knowing his journey has always reminded me of the importance of visibility, understanding, and long-term support for those with additional needs.

Years later, my own son was born two months premature, and spent the early days of his life in neonatal care. Then, at age 7, he was diagnosed with autism. That began a whole new chapter in our family’s journey — one full of love, learning, and growth.

Although these charities haven’t directly supported me, I’ve seen the work they do — and the impact they have on families just like mine. Supporting them feels like the right way to give back ❤️

The Goal: Raise £1034

Here’s exactly how that breaks down:

Any funds raised beyond the goal will be split equally between both charities!

What’s the Plan?

I’ll be livestreaming the full journey — starting from my stream room, heading to the jump site, and sharing the big day with you all. I’ll also be recording the skydive on GoPro so everyone who supports the fundraiser can share in the moment!

Once the jump is complete, I’ll personally donate half to Bliss and half to the National Autistic Society, and I’ll post full proof of both donations for transparency.
