Akiko & Family's Apartment Fire Fund

Donation protected
Over the recent Family Day Long Weekend, our fellow team member Akiko, her husband Alain, and their daughter Kaya lost everything in an apartment fire.

Here's a news link to the story:

The timing of this fire could not have been worse as it was also Kaya's 5th birthday on February 14th. All of Kaya's birthday presents from her party the day before were lost in the fire. To add to the difficult time this already is, over the last few months, Akiko has been working with available resources as Kaya was recently diagnosed with Autism. To say the least, this is and will be a very challenging time for Akiko and her family. There may be a lot of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty right now for all of them, and setting up their home in a new location will take some time.

We'd like to do what we can to help the family with some basic needs and also raise some funds to make this situation a little bit easier to cope with. If you could help with any donation, no matter how small, we know Akiko, Alain & Kaya will be forever grateful!
