We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Akhil Maya Manikandan (33) this morning due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Akhil had been working as an ODP at Oxford University Hospital for the past 3 years.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Athira Leena Vijay, and their 6-year-old son, Adhav Krishna Akhil, who now face an unimaginable loss and a difficult road ahead.

As friends and community, we are coming together to support the family during this tragic time. We are raising funds to assist with funeral expenses and to repatriate Akhil’s body to India, so he can be laid to rest in his homeland among family and loved ones.
