This October—ironically, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month—I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, my life has been a whirlwind of sorts, with an onslaught of appointments, tests, and emotions I never expected to face.
Balancing frequent hospital visits with the physical and emotional demands of treatment make it impossible to maintain my usual work schedule. Reduced hours, combined with out-of-pocket medical costs and everyday living expenses, have created significant financial pressure. This GoFundMe is intended to help cover those needs throughout the duration of my care.
Funds will go toward:
- Out-of-pocket medical care and treatment expenses
- Transportation to and from appointments
- Rent, utilities, and basic living costs
- Nutritional and wellness support recommended by my care team
