Hello, family and friends of Maggie G.! With the help of some of Maggie’s close friends and family, we have decided to put together a Go Fund Me to help her during her journey these next few weeks. As many of you may know, Maggie was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is set to have surgery December 27th (today). This is all happening very fast for her, so she has not had much time to “prepare” (if that’s even a thing when somebody finds out this kind of news). In the next four plus weeks, Maggie, with the help of her medical team, will go through surgery, radiation, and extensive lab work to help ensure that she kicks cancer goodbye! She will have to take the next few weeks off of work as well. Nobody wants this for any of their loved ones, but Maggie is strong and has the perseverance of a nurse! She is a very generous and caring person herself, so being able to help her in any form would not go unnoticed by her. As Maggie has cared for so many patients these past four years as a loving, selfless, courageous nurse, it’s time for us to take care of her in return. With that being said, if you feel like you’re able to donate financially, this Go Fund Me is to help her with various finances and medical expenses this upcoming month. However, just showing your support for Maggie emotionally is all she truly wants.
