Hello, we are raising money to benefit our youth football and cheer teams. The Bayside Broncos Youth Football and Cheer is a non-profit organization serving central San Mateo County for over 30 years. We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football and cheer to our youth, while focusing on the importance of academics.
Our 100% volunteer driven organization rely on donations to be able to thrive. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID 19 crisis, our donors are struggling to keep their businesses open and can’t help us as much as in years past.
Playing youth football and cheering is rewarding and teaches valuable life skills such as leadership, resilience and team work to the 100 kids we reach each year. However, it is also expensive.
Every year, we need to pay between $10,000 to $15,000 in equipment, helmet and shoulder pad reconditioning, buying new uniforms, renting the field, paying the referees, the medics and other game related expenses. Additionally, we want to make playing football accessible. 20 -30% of our players can play because of the scholarships we offer.
Without your help, they would not be able to play.
