Akasha recently found out that she has stage 2 breast cancer and that her health insurance won't cover a double mastectomy until it progresses to stage 4, even though it would be crazy risky not to get it removed.   Akasha didn't ask me to create this GoFundMe, I wanted to because I wish I could help her more personally with the financial stress of this difficult time.  For those of you who don't know Akasha well, she's an amazing person, one of my very best friends, and the mother of three beautiful (and handsome)  kids. I know that her family would deeply appreciate anything to help cover these procedures.
