Other ways you can help stop deforestation is buy products without palm oil, eat less beef, plant trees, and buy recycled products.

1. Since the 1960s the world has lost about 50% of its rainforests
2. One and a half acres of forest are cut down every second
3. 28,000 species are expected to become extinct because of deforestation in 25 years
4. 11% of the total carbon dioxide comes from deforestation by burning the trees
5. 31% of the diseases in recent times are because of deforestation
