Emergency Vet Care for Solo the Shep

Our 4-year-old German Shepherd was badly hurt and needs surgery for his fractured leg and emergency care for his injuries.

Nearly one month ago, while 9 months pregnant and picnicking at the park, a sad, undernourished, and very loving Shepherd mix approached us who we would later come to know and love as "Solovino" or "Solo" for short.

Together, we have worked to nurse him back to health, providing him with only the most tender of care. On 08/12/2020, our beloved Solo escaped our car and ran into the street where he was hit by two vehicles. Thankfully, a passerby who witnessed the incident informed us of what had occurred.

After rushing Solo to the vet, we were devastated to learn he had a fractured leg and would need extensive vet care totaling close to $6,000. With our new baby being born on 08/09/2020 and in light of COVID, our household is without money to cover such a huge expense.

Any and all monies raised would be used to pay for Solo's care. All donations of any kind are accepted and appreciated. Thank you, and God bless.
