Shawn's Teacher of the Year Trip

My name is Shawn Patterson. I am a physical education teacher in Kuna, Idaho. This past year I was awarded the elementary physical education teacher of the year for the state of Idaho. My application was sent on to the Northwest District, which covers the Northwest states, including Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.  I recently found out that I won this award and that my application is being sent on to the National level. I am required to attend the National SHAPE America confernce in Minneapolis Minnesota. There I will find out if I have been selected as the National Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the year. In order to get there I must raise $1960 to cover the cost of the conference, hotel and lodging.  The sooner I can get the funds the better to ensure that I can get lodging and airline tickets at the best price. I am the sole provider in our home, with my wife going back to school this January, a son at college and six children at home. Any help to fund my trip would be greatly appreciated.
