Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read about our sweet boy Milo.

Today (8th December 2025) our beautiful boy went outside as he normally does, but today got into a fight with another cat and in instant he couldn't walk and was screaming in pain.

We rushed him to the vet and thats where he is now sedated and comfortable waiting for an operation on his hip - FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy.

This surgery involves removing the head and neck of the femur (thigh bone). It is a procedure used to relieve pain by creating a 'false joint' when the hip joint is damaged. It will give Milo a chance to walk, run, and jump without the constant, debilitating pain he is currently experiencing.

The cost of this critical surgery has not been given yet but including all necessary components, is in the £1000s - we don't know yet.

Unfortunately its going to cost thousands of pounds. I don't have pet insurance, as I couldn't afford to keep up the payments. Oh the irony now.

I absolutely hate and am so embarrassed to ask for help, but we are absolutely desperate and beside ourselves and just want our baby home.

Milos the most loving, playful, and snuggly little boy who likes to have treats with his brother and sister Reggie and Rosie every night before bed.

He spends his days chasing sunbeams and demanding chin rubs and snuggly fleeces to make bread on. He is our family and brings so much joy to our lives.
