Give Tom a Chance!!

Donation protected
Tom is a 4lb male Maltese, between 7 and 10 years old. He was found as a stray wandering the streets of Everett, Washington. Tom was brought into a rescue shelter with a broken jaw and is currently diagnosed with infected anal glands and a perineal hernia which cause him difficulties using the bathroom. The rescue group found a veterinarian who would donate services to set Tom's jaw on the condition the rescue group would resolve the infection and hernia problems.

The rescue group treated Tom but his recovery is taking longer than expected. Due to his slow recovery, Tom has been deemed unadoptable and no organization is willing to place him. The rescue has requested Tom's foster parents return him to be euthanized.

Tom's foster parents do NOT believe euthanization is the answer. Tom has a happy appetite, loves to snuggle and play and follows his foster mom everywhere.

Tom needs surgery to repair the infected anal glands and perineal hernia. His foster parents have put forward a thousand dollars for Tom's care to date.

Maltese can live 12-15 years if cared for properly. Tom has a lot of life left in him and will be grateful for your support. With your help, Tom will get the care he needs and deserves.

Please help give Tom a chance!
