Hello, my name is Anna, and I am Emanuel’s wife. On July 20, 2022, my husband was involved in a workplace accident and was diagnosed with a condition called rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis is a serious condition in which the muscles suffer severe damage and begin to break down, releasing toxic substances into the bloodstream. This can affect vital organs, such as the kidneys, causing severe pain, extreme weakness, and serious health problems. Because of this condition, my husband has been unable to work for 3 years and 10 months. He is undergoing ongoing treatment, needs constant rest, and cannot engage in physical exertion. Throughout this time, we have faced many financial difficulties. In addition to basic expenses, we are currently going through an even more difficult time, as we need to cover the costs of a lawyer for the ICE case. These costs are high, and unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay them on my own. Thank God, throughout this journey, many friends have helped us, and we are very grateful for every bit of help, every prayer, and every gesture of kindness. Today I come here, with a heavy heart, to ask for help again, because ICE has detained my husband. He is ill and cannot endure staying in a place like this for long. On Friday, he became very ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. At this moment, I humbly ask for your help so that I can get my husband out of this situation and cover the necessary legal costs.
