Somos da PM Services Group, uma empresa de limpeza com mais de 10 anos de atuação aqui na Gold Coast. Criamos essa vaquinha para ajudar um dos nossos colaboradores, o Lucas Spindola, que está passando por uma situação extremamente delicada.

Lucas chegou à Austrália no início deste ano junto com sua irmã, Isabela. Desde então, tem trabalhado conosco — sempre com muita dedicação, responsabilidade e um coração enorme. Ele é daqueles funcionários que a gente tem orgulho de ter por perto.

Na semana passada, durante uma breve viagem de férias para Bali, Lucas sofreu um gravíssimo acidente de moto. Ele teve fraturas expostas no rosto, quebrou a mandíbula, perdeu diversos dentes e sofreu outras fraturas pelo corpo. As imagens e relatos que recebemos são devastadores.

Sua irmã Isabela, que também está na Austrália, viajou sozinha de madrugada para encontrá-lo em Bali. Ela não fala inglês fluentemente e está enfrentando essa situação difícil em um país desconhecido, tentando cuidar do irmão e resolver todas as questões médicas e burocráticas.

A realidade médica em Bali é limitada. Lucas ficou dois dias esperando atendimento adequado e ainda terá que passar por diversas cirurgias reconstrutivas, incluindo reestruturação facial e reparos dentários complexos. O custo com hospital, cirurgia e cuidados emergenciais já ultrapassa 35 mil dólares australianos (AUD) — valor que sua família, no Brasil, está tentando ajudar a cobrir como pode.

Sabemos que todos nós enfrentamos desafios longe de casa, e essa é uma situação que poderia acontecer com qualquer um. Por isso, estamos pedindo ajuda à nossa comunidade — brasileiros, australianos e todos que puderem contribuir. Qualquer valor faz a diferença. Mesmo $10 já ajuda muito.

Hi everyone,

We are PM Services Group, a cleaning company that has been operating on the Gold Coast for over 10 years. We're starting this GoFundMe to help one of our team members, Lucas Spindola, who is going through a very difficult and painful moment.

Lucas came to Australia earlier this year with his sister, Isabela. Since then, he has been working with us — always committed, responsible, and kind-hearted. He is truly one of those people you’re grateful to have on your team.

Last week, during a short holiday trip to Bali, Lucas was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He suffered multiple exposed facial fractures, a broken jaw, lost many teeth, and sustained other injuries throughout his body. The images and medical reports we received are heartbreaking.

His sister Isabela, who is also in Australia, flew out alone in the middle of the night from the Gold Coast to be by his side. She doesn’t speak much English and is now in a foreign country, trying to support her brother and deal with all the medical and logistical challenges.

Unfortunately, the healthcare infrastructure in Bali is very limited. Lucas had to wait two days to get proper treatment, and he will still need to undergo multiple surgeries for facial reconstruction and dental repair. The initial medical costs have already exceeded AUD $35,000, and his family in Brazil is doing their best to help — but we all know how expensive and overwhelming this situation can be.

Out of respect for Lucas and his family, we chose to share a more discreet photo, as his current condition is truly distressing. Those who know him will remember the bright energy and big smile he always brought — and that’s exactly what we’re fighting to see again.

We know how hard it is to go through something like this far from home. This could happen to any of us. So we’re asking for support from our community — Brazilians, Aussies, and anyone who can contribute. Any amount helps. Even $10 can make a difference.
