Hi, my name is Caroline and I’m the mom of Lua, my beloved dog who is part of our family, we are from Brazil.

Last week, Lua had to undergo emergency surgery due to pyometra, a serious and life-threatening uterine infection. Everything happened very fast and it was an extremely scary moment for us.

Besides the surgery, she needed hospitalization, exams, anesthesia, medications, and continuous veterinary care, which resulted in very high and unexpected expenses.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful and Lua is now recovering, but we still have ongoing costs with medication, follow-up exams, and post-operative care.

That’s why I created this fundraiser — to help cover these medical expenses and ensure Lua has a safe and healthy recovery.
