My name is Deise and I’m Marcos’ wife. Unfortunately my Marcos was arrested by ICE on January 5/2026 (almost 4 months now) and our 3 boys and I are trusting in God by a miracle that he is released and not deported. We don’t have a green card yet but we had asylum that allowed us to work and have a social security number. It is cancelled now by the current administration . After many failed attempts to get him released yesterday the judge accepted the application for cancellation of removal due to hardship for the kids (application 42b), and he granted 30 more days to prove it until May 21. However, the judge scheduled the next and final hearing on May 29, and May 25 is my son‘s 18th birthday, and May 26 is his graduation ceremony at Kia Center. These two dates are very important to us, and I would love to have my husband with us. God only knows if he will be released before the 29 of May.
