A Amora é uma cadela de apenas 13 meses que veio transformar a nossa casa e encher as nossas vidas de alegria. Foi um sonho dos nossos filhos que conseguimos concretizar no ano passado, e desde então tornou-se uma parte inseparável da nossa família.

Sempre foi uma cadela saudável, ativa, brincalhona e cheia de energia. Mas, no passado dia 25 de maio, tudo mudou.

A Amora começou a ficar muito mole, sem apetite, sem reação e com tremores intensos. Corremos de urgência para o veterinário, onde foi detetado que tinha ingerido um objeto estranho, que teve de ser removido através de uma cirurgia.

Felizmente, a cirurgia correu bem e a Amora está a recuperar dessa intervenção. No entanto, os tremores persistem, continua sem apetite e muito apática. Após várias consultas, exames e análises, ainda não foi possível encontrar a causa destes sintomas.

Neste momento, o próximo passo é realizar uma ressonância magnética e exames complementares para despistar todas as hipóteses e permitir que os veterinários encontrem um diagnóstico e o tratamento adequado.

O custo destes exames é muito elevado e estima-se que ronde os 1.200€, entre consultas, ressonância magnética e análises.

Por isso, decidimos pedir ajuda.

Qualquer contributo, independentemente do valor, fará uma enorme diferença para a Amora e para a nossa família. E, se não puder ajudar financeiramente, a partilha desta angariação será igualmente muito importante.

Amora is a 13-month-old dog who came into our home and filled our lives with joy. She was our children's dream, which we were able to make come true last year, and since then she has become an inseparable part of our family.

She has always been a healthy, active, playful, and energetic dog. But on May 25th, everything changed.

Amora suddenly became very weak, lost her appetite, was unresponsive, and developed severe tremors. We rushed her to the emergency veterinarian, where it was discovered that she had ingested a foreign object that needed to be removed through surgery.

Fortunately, the surgery was successful, and Amora is recovering well from the procedure. However, the tremors persist, she still has no appetite, and remains very lethargic. Despite several consultations, tests, and examinations, the cause of these symptoms has not yet been identified.

At this stage, the next step is to perform an MRI scan and additional diagnostic tests to rule out all possible causes and enable the veterinary team to reach a diagnosis and provide the appropriate treatment.

The cost of these examinations is very high and is estimated to be around €1,200, including consultations, the MRI scan, and laboratory tests.

That is why we have decided to ask for help.

We simply want to give Amora the opportunity to return to being the happy, energetic, and playful dog she has always been.
