Eu sou Alberto Perdomo, B-boy profissional e treinador de dança. Nasci e cresci na Venezuela, mas vivo em Portugal desde 2011, onde tenho dedicado o meu percurso ao desenvolvimento da comunidade da dança e da cultura hip-hop. Apesar de ter construído a minha vida em Portugal, a minha família continua na Venezuela e cada tragédia que atinge o meu país continua a tocar-me profundamente.

Após o devastador terramoto de 24 de junho, senti que não podia ficar indiferente. Felizmente, a minha família não foi diretamente afetada, mas muitas outras famílias não tiveram essa sorte. Esta campanha é a minha forma de mobilizar a comunidade portuguesa, e todas as pessoas que queiram ajudar, para apoiar o povo venezuelano neste momento tão difícil.

Os fundos angariados através deste GoFundMe serão transferidos para o Grupo RAMTOR J.R. C.A. uma empresa venezuelana de distribuição de suprimentos cirúrgicos, responsável pelo fornecimento de implantes e materiais médicos aos hospitais que estão a tratar as vítimas do terramoto. A empresa tem conhecimento desta campanha e apoia esta iniciativa, garantindo que os materiais adquiridos sejam entregues diretamente ao médico e à equipa clínica responsáveis pelas cirurgias dos pacientes que necessitam de tratamento ortopédico na sequência do terramoto.

Cada donativo será utilizado na aquisição de implantes cirúrgicos e de materiais médicos essenciais para cirurgias ortopédicas, incluindo placas, parafusos, hastes intramedulares, próteses e outros dispositivos indispensáveis ao tratamento de fraturas e lesões graves. Todo o valor angariado será utilizado exclusivamente para a compra destes materiais médicos, que serão entregues aos profissionais de saúde responsáveis pelas intervenções cirúrgicas das vítimas do terramoto.

Sempre que possível, partilharemos atualizações sobre o impacto alcançado, para que todos os que contribuírem possam acompanhar a diferença que a sua solidariedade está a fazer.

I am Alberto Perdomo, a professional B-boy and dance coach. I was born and raised in Venezuela, but I have been living in Portugal since 2011, where I have dedicated my career to supporting and developing the dance and hip-hop community. Although I have built my life in Portugal, my family still lives in Venezuela, and every tragedy that affects my home country deeply impacts me.

After the devastating earthquake on June 24, I felt I could not stand by without helping. Thankfully, my family was not directly affected, but many others were not as fortunate. This campaign is my way of bringing together the Portuguese community, and everyone willing to help, to support the people of Venezuela during this incredibly difficult time.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be transferred to Grupo RAMTOR J.R. C.A. , a Venezuelan company specializing in the distribution of surgical supplies. The company is aware of and supports this campaign and is responsible for supplying surgical implants and medical materials to the hospitals treating earthquake victims. It will ensure that the purchased materials are delivered directly to the physician and clinical team performing surgeries on patients who require orthopedic treatment as a result of the earthquake.

Every donation will be used to purchase essential surgical implants and medical supplies for orthopedic procedures, including plates, screws, intramedullary nails, prosthetic implants, and other critical devices required to treat severe fractures and injuries. All funds raised will be used exclusively to purchase these medical supplies, which will be delivered to the healthcare professionals performing surgeries on earthquake victims.

Whenever possible, we will share updates on the impact of this campaign so that everyone who contributes can see the difference their generosity is making.
