Help Meitav Continue Her Transition Journey

Hi Everyone,

My name is Meitav Aaron and I am a 25 year old trans woman raising funds to support the next stage of my transition. I am currently in the process of getting my FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery) here in NYC and, while I’m very grateful to have insurance for the next year, my insurance will only cover 80% of the surgery. This will leave me with at least $10,000 that I will need to pay out of pocket.

While I am looking to cover the cost of my surgery, I will unfortunately also be losing access to my insurance once I turn 26 in September 2025. I am hoping to raise $25,000 so that I can pay for my FFS and have funds to support my transition for at least the next 2 years while I try to navigate a healthcare system and country that is only growing more and more hostile to trans people seeking life-affirming and life-saving care. I have hope that my community will show up for me and help me secure the care I need for this next stage of my transition and I am so grateful for the love and support I’ve received so far. My life has truly changed in a million amazing ways since I began my transition 2 years ago and I plan on doing everything I can to help me push forward towards the next milestones in my transition.
