A very dear friend of mine has been diagnosed at the age 20 with Hodgkins Lymphoma earlier this month.
Amy is a stunning girl, an extraordinary human being. She is cheerful, loving and unbelievably strong.
Together with friends, family and colleagues, I am trying to raise money to get Amy the best possible tools to help ease the stress of the whole process.
Those who know Amy will know that her Rapunzel style locks really are her pride and joy. Her cancer journey is in the very early stages, one of hurdles that Amy is likely to face is hair loss due to the chemotherapy she needs to help her fight this disease. If we can raise enough money to get her a top quality wig to emulate her beautiful long hair, I’m sure this will make a very difficult time that bit easier for Amy.
