Meet Channing! Channing is a sophomore and attends St. Agnes Academy in Houston, TX. She has been awarded a partial Exceptional Student Merit Scholarship to attend Oxford University in Oxford, England in the Oxford Tradition Program July 3- August 10, 2016.  Even with this fantastic partial scholarship award, it does not cover the full cost of her study abroad experience. Let’s rally around Channing and show her that her efforts to achieve excellence and accomplish her lifelong dream of studying at Oxford can be attained.  
Not your average 15 year old, Channing is driven, studious, and goal oriented. She is passionate about social causes including world-wide education for girls, the plight of underserved communities, and how policy and politics affects how we engage as human beings. She is an amateur photographer, the youngest television station studio manager in her schools 111 year history. In addition to her schools demanding curriculum and schedule, Channing is also a correspondent and photojournalist for The Buzz Magazine, and enjoys volunteering with special needs children and rescue animals.
