Hello!
My best and truest friend Tanna has dedicated the past few years of her life to the care of her mother who passed away from lung cancer in November.
Tanna was enrolled in school and was managing classes as well as daily visits to Hospice to visit her mother. Now, because she chose to stick with classes instead of dropping out of school, (because she is extremely passionate about education) the school is choosing to refuse to give her financial aid to continue her education until she can pay off what she currently owes.
Time and time again I have watched the universe tear down one of the most caring, courageous, and supportive people I have ever met. She has never once complained, no matter what the universe throws her way.
Currenly, Tanna is working as much as possible to be able to afford rent, school, and whatever else life throws her way.
She has always been there for me to help with any burdens I have faced. Why should someone be denied the opportunity to recieve an education because she chose to care for her family?
