Over the years, he and his family have endured countless procedures, therapies, and setbacks — always holding on to hope that one day he’d be able to walk and play without pain.

After multiple attempts to correct the original birth defects, AJ’s medical team has determined that the best path forward is a **below-the-knee amputation**, scheduled for **February 17, 2026**. While this is a life-changing decision, it also brings the promise of a brighter, more independent future for AJ — one where he can move freely and live without constant discomfort.

This next step in AJ’s journey will involve **extensive recovery, physical therapy, and emotional support** from his loving parents, family, and friends.
