AJ's Cancer Recovery Expenses

Friends and Supporters of the Farrice Family:

As many of you know, AJ was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in May and is currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy in Charlotte. In a few weeks, he will begin working with a group of specialists at Duke University. This will include office visits, bimonthly chemotherapy, and two major surgeries in Durham. While AJ is fortunate to have health insurance that covers many of his medical expenses, the hidden costs of cancer treatment (copays, out-of-network appointments, transportation, lodging, childcare, food etc.) accumulate quickly.
