Together for AJ: His fight, Our fight

To know AJ is to love him.

In the Spring of 2025, Andrew was diagnosed with two rare blood cancers: Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) and Myelofibrosis (MF), caused by a mutation in his CALR gene. These conditions have led to advanced scarring in his bone marrow, and recent genetic testing revealed two new, aggressive mutations that puts him at imminent risk of developing leukemia. His doctors are now urgently preparing him for a stem cell transplant, the only curative path available.

As a family, we know that AJ doesn't belong to us. He belongs to Someone who is far greater than any doctor. Jesus is our testimony, our rock, our healer, and who we turn to in times of joy, anger, and grief.

We trust him entirely with our AJ. And in the words of Jesus, “This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John‬ ‭11‬:‭4‬)

Our goal is to create an army of support completely surrounding AJ, Tammy, Julianna, and Ethan during this unthinkable time. We invite all who want to stand in the trenches with us and ease the burden a little so they can focus fully on what matters most: healing, rest, and time together.
