Who Am I

Hi, I'm Maquille T and I am an ordinary boy that grew in a somewhat ordinary life. I grew up learning to stay positive in what ever circumstance I was in and to not let my brain get the best of me. I Work hard to whatever is put in front of me and I try and try no matter what. I Love Musical theater although I never was able to be an onstage performer and show people what I've been stirring behind the scenes. I wasn't as good as I am today back then, as a matter of fact I wasn't even a good singer or anything of that sort, but I consistently kept putting in efforts until I got here. I have people in my life who have help me along the pathway and I've put some of their words to work. I am a ticking bomb, waiting to tick off.

Why You Should Chip In

I am looking to show people what I can do and be an Inspiration. By chipping in whatever amount you can, I'm getting closer to raise the amount I would need to attend Julliard the summer program. Being able to attend the program, I would be working with professionals in that category to help me reach my full potential. Once that happen, then I can showcase it to others and might be an inspiration to some else. One of my inspirations was from a girl I attended school with last year. I went to watch a school production as a freshman and the show was so good for the first ever musical I've ever watched. That one girl I was talking about was amazing as I was sitting there watching as one of my peers were performing as a FRESHMAN at an arts school. I wasn't in the same strand so I didn't have that much to see afterwards. That moment made me realized what I really want to do can be accomplished.

What I Did to Get Here

When I figured out what I wanted, I wasted no time to pushing to get there. I woke up in the morning almost everyday last year after that just to get to school and practiced. It wasn't like a 10 minute practice, it was for half an hour and sometimes it would go on for a full hour depending on what time I got there.I had practiced for 8 months without missing a single day of practice time. I would do my research constantly trying to figure out what made others performance so interesting all while trying to hold up my academics along with instrumental grades. I had also helped out with a children choir using what I had learned from my own time. Sometimes I would stay after school to watch people in the dance division dance and practice my dancing or go to others asking questions. I figured out how to have my schedule be homogenized while also shooting to make it more challenging. The efforts deluged throughout my brain and I decided to join a club for voice. I would go to plays at the school to take notes and figuring out the difference between on stage and on film. I worked out the separate components of musical theater individually and I would love to put it together and show other what i'm made of. I didn't stop then and I'm not planning on stopping now.

How Will You Help

By contributing some change you will be apart of helping me long term. With that experience, I would help others grow and love what they do in life.I would give a sense of accomplishment to others. You will allow me to help out with figuring out what is missing. I know I'm not perfect but with you and everyone joined together can help make a difference. This is a team effort and you can be apart of that team to make others believe in the impossible.
