I am Carol's sister, Sandy. She is going through a lot. She has been for several years, from taking care of our mother who had cancer and passed away last May, to now her husband. Before our mother, she took care of his mother who had cancer. She is going to need lots of support and help. She is drained emotionally, physically, and financially but trying her best to stay strong through it all. Rusty is doing his best to live daily and do what he can as long as he can. I took this copy from her Facebook to let everyone know how she is feeling and doing. Everything goes directly to her. I told her I was doing this because she definitely needs all the support she can get. They don't have insurance so it's rough. They also have other ways to donate. Please share if you can. God bless to all.
This is hard for me to write. But so I don't have to let everyone know individually, here it goes. My husband, Rusty Ehrhart, has had some medical issues. We all (family and friends) wanted him to go get it checked out. My daughter, Evelynn Ehrhart, and I finally convinced him to go, so on Sunday night we went to the ER. We were hoping it was something that was fixable. After we got the results from the CAT scan, it turns out he has cancer. It's a lot. He is still trying to function day to day as much as he can. He wants to enjoy his time with everyone while he can. Going to go on hospice so they can help us. I just lost my mom on May 23 last year to cancer. I'm definitely NOT ready to lose my husband. I'm very stressed and extremely emotional from absolutely everything. Bills are piling up, and we're doing all we can while we can. When I say I can't talk about it, it's hard to. I'm trying my best to understand, accept, and be ready, but it's so hard. I love him dearly. This year will be 26 years together. He is my rock. My love. My everything.
