You never know how strong you are until being strong is all you have left so here is my story. On May 31st 2011 I was in a teribble car accident under a tractor trailer. That was the scariest thing I ever experienced in my life . Road to recovery was my main focus. I graduated college and was on the road to success. But on January 24, 2014 my life took a huge turn I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Thymus Cancer. I felt every emotion a person could possibly feel but I knew from that day on I had to jump right into survivor mode. I since than adopted the slogan " Tough Girls Fight Strong" and all my friends and family supported me along the way. The last six months has been an arduous battle physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Since being diagnosed I lost both of jobs, one of three years as a teller and the job of my dreams. I worked as case manager for a diversion program at a behavior health center in Philadelphia. I was responsible for bi-weekly visits within the home, school, and juvenile justice system. I provided the families with community outreach support by connecting them with housing and utility assistance programs , parenting education groups, mental programs etc. and also working along side DHS. Working with the youth was always a passion of mine and solving one's problems brought me joy. I am now asking everyone to help me continue this fight and help me pursue my dreams. In addition to my daily living expenses I now have an abundance of medical bills. Please whoever is reading this help lift this financial burden. Don't forget Tough times don't last because "Tough Girls Fight Strong".
My cancer went into a remission and as of July 8, 2015 I was told that my cancer recurred inside a lymph node in my chest. I am currently in treatment and it is yet again very hard. I yet again lost another job in the banking industry. I am now faced with another financial burden. Anyone who is reading this anything is appreciated. Thank you
