Shawn was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS) and has been on Ocrevus Infusions since June 2017. This is the first "disease modifying therapy" for PPMS and though it is not a cure, it does slow by progression of the disease. It has also been known to shrink tumors like the one in his brain. This treatment is given every 24 weeks and his next one is scheduled for December.  I am asking for help to cover the cost of his copay of almost $4,000.    I would do ANYTHING to improve Shawn's quality of life and selfishly, keep him with me for as long as I can. Many of you know that I no longer work as I am now the full time caregiver to Shawn and the grandbabies. We are excited about the move back to Texas as healthcare is more affordable and we just received better care for him there.
