Clean Water Project 4 West African kids
Donation protected
I have been offered an amazing opportunity to join an Engineers Without Borders project in Togo, West Africa. The goal is to assess conditions for a water supply project there. I am a student at the University of Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss, and have been offered this opportunity as a late summer travel abroad class. I will graduate this December with a B.S. Geology degree and look forward to continuing on to grad school. Participating in this project would be my first opportunity to really put into practice the education I have received thus far, and would have a very positive impact on a community. This would be an incredible experience both educationally and personally. Travel to this part of the world however, is well beyond the constraints of a college student's budget (at least this college student). I am responsible for airfare, passport, visa, vaccionations, and the class fee itself. This is a last minute plea, the trip begins on August 3, 2014. I would so appreciate any and all support and assistance, I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can pull this all together in time!
