Brooke’s Battle

Hi my name is Angie Reynolds, I really appreciate you listening to my story. I call it Brooke’s Battle. My daughter Brooke has had some health problems but in March she had 2 cardiac arrests and had to have shock paddles used both times. She had a blood clot removed from her lungs, suffered a watershed stroke, was on a ventilator for about 15 days and then had a trache put in. Doctors gave her no chance to recover but by the Grace of God she pulled through. We then found out she had a broken femur and had to have a rod, steel plate, and numerous screws put in her leg. She has a long road ahead of her and was recently informed she would stay in the hospital then to a rehab facility and not home until about August with physical therapy to continue. I’ve been staying full time day and night by her side first in Jewish Hospital and now in University of Louisville Hospital. I only leave for short times to go home shower, and do my laundry. I’m asking for donations to help with food, travel expenses and some bills. Any amount you are willing to contribute would be greatly appreciated and if are unable to give at this time a share with your family snd friends would mean a lot to Brooke and myself.
