Hey family and friends. Saturday afternoon I(Rachel) was a victim of a high impact car accident off of Larpenteur ave and Cleavland Ave with an inexperienced driver. While I having the green light (right-of-way)in the right lane traveling west bound on Larpenteur Ave w, the other driver driving in the left lane tried and failed to make an abrupt wide U-Turn and ended up blocking Larpenteur west bound by being entirely perpendicular to the street. This resulted in me driving into the complete side center her car, crushing the entire front of my car and spiraling out into the middle of the intersection injuring me. Totaling my(Averie’s) car. The Good Samaritans in the other cars risked their lives pulling me bloodied out of my smoking vehicle and away from oncoming traffic. Staying with me while police and ambulance came. I suffered head and neck trauma, lacerations on my arms, front lip, and chest, and bruising on my face, arms, and legs.
