Hello , my name is Ajani. I go to Pompano Beach High School (one of Broward County's best schools) where I am given a wonderful oppurtunity to partcipiate in Chinese 1. Ever since I've started, I've grown a fond love for everything China; from the people, the music, the food, and even the television shows. I've hosted and gotten shadowed by Chinese students for a week at my school and we had lots of fun. On Saturday, Februray 27th, 2016 I will be attending the World Languages Competition, where I'll be reciting two poems and a self-introduction to compete in Chinese. Recently, I have been presented an amazing oppurtunity to attend a two-week trip to China. In my life it has always been a desire to travel to other countries, as I'm getting older I'm realizing that I want to Major in Child Psychology and Minor in Linguistics, and ultimately become a teacher in a foreign country. I'm hoping to go to China and learn some new things and make connections so I can move there later in my life. 
It takes a village to raise a child. I am a child of your village and I'm ready to explore other villages. Please help fuel my trip.
