More information about KIDNEYS FOR LIFE FUNDRAISING FOR MINT: Chronic kidney disease is on the increase & can strike anyone at any age and whilst treatments exist, there is currently no cure. KFL provide starter level funding for research projects which focus on improving dialysis, ways to make transplanted kidneys last longer and also, crucially ways to detect early stage kidney disease. We fund training & education of North West based renal staff & we provide patient amenities – all with the aim of making life better for kidney patients of all ages.
