Aja and Syndal Baker House Fire Relief

On Sunday May 21, 2023 my sister and her daughter lost everything in a house fire. Aja is a wonderful single mother to Syndal, who is about to complete the 6th grade. They shared their home with their 2 cats, Eggroll and TT, and their 2 dogs, Rue and Luna. Unfortunately they lost their cat of 14 years, Eggroll, who passed as a result of the fire. Their home was tragically consumed by the fire and they are devastated by the loss. Thankfully, while all family members escaped initially, the loss of their home, possessions and family pet left an emotional toll that will take some time to heal. The home they shared, and often hosted family gatherings filled with love and laughter, now stands in charred remains. Aja has worked very hard over the years to provide a loving safe home for Syndal, it was their sanctuary.

In this difficult time, I am turning to our community for support and assistance so they may begin to rebuild their lives. The funds will be used to secure a new loving environment, replace essential household items, and help start the process of healing and recovery.
