Freaks Medical recovery

Hello! My Uncle, Freak Dog, also known as Hot Dog or Troy Allen is needing some help from family and friends at this time!

For about a year now Freak has experienced some pretty bad indigestion/heart burn that his doctors were helping him treat. On May 9th 2022 the 3rd Death Anniversary of Freak and Kim's son Zack, Freak was experiencing some pretty bad "heartburn". He came home from work early due to the pain and around noon told Kim that he needed to go to the hospital. He had now developed not only the heart burn but some vomitting and tremendous pain in his chest (heart area), stomach, and his back. Kim took him to St. John's in Springfield. After an ordeal of back and forths Freak was finally seen and they quickly realized he was in need of emergency surgery. He was transfered by ambulance to Memorial Medical in Springfield and prepped for surgery. He was alert and knew what was going on and terrified. The doctors found that his Aorta was torn at the top near his heart and was Shredded in groin area. This required a 5 to 6 hour very scary invasive surgery. He was cut from from the top of his sternum Down to his belly area. He was then placed on bypass while the doctors repaired the top portion of the aorta. Due to the amount of time each repair required and needing to use the bypass method the least amount of time as possible they chose the most important section to repair. This left the bottom portion in hopes it would start to repair itself. Surgery went well and spent several days in ICU and then to a regular room. After 10 days he was able to come home with a ton of restrictions and 24 hour care. He isnt able to lift more than a gallon of milk which at this time is still alot of weight for him. His recovery time before he can get back to any kind of normalcy will be months. This leaves the weight on Kim's shoulders. She already basically lives at Walmart as it is and now she will be the sole provider plus stacks of medical bills on top of that while also helping take care of her elderly parents. Family has stepped in to help and now we are asking his friends to do the same. If you know Freak, then you know he didn't want me (his neice Ashley) to make this for him and Kim. However, his 2 sisters and I know they need this so much right now. For all of my life as far back as I can remember and even before I was born Freak has organized, collected donations, and executed many many benefits for his friends/family/and even strangers in their time of need. He is and will always be the first person to stop what he is doing to help anyone and now he needs us! Any donation big or small helps!
