Family fallen on hard times

We have fallen on some really hard times. My husband was medically seperated from the military, in an effort to make our lives better, we decided to go into business for ourselves , Our business is now bankrupt, my husbands father died, he had to use what little money we had to make it Wisconsin for the funeral.
We can't pay the rent on our apartment, car , or any other bills we have. Our car is about to be repossessed as well.
I had stomach surgery almost 4 wks ago and I'm still unable to work, My husband is currently looking for a job to support us, with very little luck.
We have lived our lives helping other people, and now that we are down and in need of help, there appears to be none for us. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
