Our dear friends need your support. The Congdons, JJ, Jamie, Bella, AJ, and pup Lincoln, are an incredible, loving, and joyful family. Always on the move, the Congdons are rarely without a planned vacation or activity. They enjoy fun at the beach, skiing in the mountains, cruising in the pontoon boat, and fishing on the lake with many friends and family. JJ and Jamie are happiest when spending quality time with Bella and AJ.
On September 29th, the family was shocked and saddened to learn
8 year old AJ was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous brain tumor(DIPG). With strength and determination, the family has adjusted to a new routine. AJ is being treated by doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital. Currently he travels daily to radiation treatments at Brigham and Women’s for the next six weeks. AJ’s innate energy and zest for life is apparent as he fights his fight without complaint, tears, or fear. This incredibly happy, sports loving boy is still as sweet, affectionate and funny as ever. He’d love to show you a silly dog video on youtube, play a card game (you get a big smile if he wins), excitedly and proudly tell you about his recent touchdown for the Rams football team and the score of his sister Bella’s last softball win, or demonstrate his cool new green fishing rod and lure. His extended support network has enveloped him with love, hugs and kisses and will continue to rally around their little bud AJ to fight his cancer battle.
The Congdons graciously thank everyone who has sent messages, gifts, and stopped by to visit. They are beyond grateful for and humbled by the immeasurable outpouring of love, support and concern from family, friends and community during this challenging time.
