Help AJ Beat Cancer

My mom, AJ Peterson, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. In May, she will be having a bilateral mastectomy followed by 16 weeks of chemotherapy. She also received this diagnosis on the first day of her new job as a drug and alcohol counselor at a local treatment center. Unfortunately, as a new employee, she doesn't currently qualify for the benefits that would cover the 3 to 4 months off of work necessary for her recovery.
