Chef AJ Armour Memorial Fund

AJ was a loving son and big brother, caring friend, and an accomplished Chef. We are devastated by his sudden, accidental passing, but would like to do something positive in his memory. The food service industry is a fast-paced, demanding work environment that can take a toll on one's mental health. Like many other chefs, AJ struggled with anxiety, depression, and addiction. We are gathering donations to support mental health services for food service professionals in the hopes that we can create a brighter future for people who, like Chef AJ, are passionate about food. We have partnered with The Retreat in Wayzata MN to create the Chef Alexander Armour Scholarship Fund. The Retreat strives to be an accessible option for every individual who seeks drug and alcohol addiction treatment. Through this partnership, we hope to be able to provide affordable services to service industry professionals in need of care. No donation is too small! Please contribute what you can in memory of AJ and his vibrant life that ended too soon.

AJ graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in St. Paul MN and worked at a variety of restaurants in the Twin Cities area and in Los Angeles CA throughout his 16 year career. He poured his heart and soul in to the places he worked. His passion for culinary arts and his contributions to these establishments will not soon be forgotten.
