Aizen’s Mass Removal

In the early hours of Christmas Eve, we had to rush our sweet boy, Aizen to the emergency vet. He had become extremely lethargic, started vomiting, losing color in his gums, and became unresponsive to us. We knew something was wrong. 

Once we got to the emergency vet, they did an ultrasound where they discovered a mass on his spleen. It had ruptured and started to bleed. There was blood in his abdomen. They told us the cause was cancer. We were devastated. They told us our options, gave us the cost of surgery options, and we discussed what we could afford as a family. They gave us some medication to start and sent us home so we could spend Christmas with him. 

We took Aizen to his regular vet today and we received good news! He is a good candidate for spleen removal! The cost isabout $1400 but, could ultimately prolong our sweet boy’s life. Aizen is my daughter’s very best friend. Her heart is broken and she’s desperate to save him. She’s asked if we could start a GoFundMe to raise some money for his surgery. Anything helps, even just sharing our page. We love our Bubba more than anything and he’s a big member of our family. ❤️
